Inspiration shoots are my all time fav. Its my time to think of things in my head and experiment. I use to do it all the time but work and building my business started to take over. Rim (the gorgeous model below) had contacted me early last year and asked about doing a shoot together. I said I would LOVE to because I was in the midst of wedding season and needed something a little different to keep the creativity going. I told her to let me think up an idea. I wanted to do something with a flower crown and a green field, but I wanted the crown to be grand. I wanted the hair and makeup (it was perfect) to be whimsical and the accessories to be as well. So I went to Hobby Lobby and bought all the flowers to make the crown. I had no idea what I was doing…all I knew was the crown kept getting bigger and bigger, hah. (but that was the point…to be grand). I found a metallic skirt and asked Rim to wear a light colored t-shirt. She brought some gold bracelets that went beautifully with my butterfly necklace (it was my 104 year old great great aunts…so its like an antique), and we paired it with my white fur  stole (also my great great aunts, that lady had some awesome things). So we set out to make some magic. The sunlight was just perfect for what I was wanting. Rim did an amazing job being my model! That girl can pose and work the camera! I had an amazing time getting to do something I love and out of the norm. Its always good to go out on a limb and just let your mind run. I have so many ideas in my head and its sometimes hard to get going and make it happen. I have another shoot that I have been thinking in my head for 3 years now and I finally think I can make it happen. But right now its top secret…you will just to wait and see :)

Here are some of my favs. I also want to add, the photo of her laying by the tree. The tree is no longer there, it was struck by lightening I believe and was destroyed so they had to cut it down. I will forever be grateful I shot by that tree because it was so big and beautiful.
